February 22nd is #NationalMargaritaDay all around the country. Millions of people will rush to the nearest watering hole to order a signature margarita, guacamole and chips. Though I am recovering from a cold during the festivities this year, I thought I'd offer you an alternative to the good 'ol Margarita. These recipes are inspired by Perry's Steakhouse, a popular high-end restaurant here in Texas. Check out the post below for two cocktails guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds and your anxiety (lol).
Cucumber Blueberry Martini:
Smirnoff Blueberry vodka shaken with fresh lime juice, cranberry and muddled cucumber.
Peachy Glen:
Glenmorangie 10 year old scotch shaken with Belvedere Peach Nectar vodka, stonefruit puree and fresh pressed lemon juice.
Truffle Steak Fries
Complete with a side of garlic aioli (OMG!). A more than adequate substitution for chips and guacamole.
